About the Monster People...
A little company called “THE EDGE” began distributing
small auxiliary motors that would fit any bicycle. The original
idea was to simply help handicapped people regain the freedom
of mobility. The founders traveled to Washington DC to iron
out legal issues regarding licensing, registration, etc
Following laws created to help people cover happy to find out the new design was street legal yet
could still be parked on the sidewalks or in a bike rack.
the system received a patent and the company grew.
The idea worked great. That was 19 years ago…
